Description
Joe Randazzo is a singer, songwriter and filmmaker currently living in Seattle, WA.
Born and raised in Eugene, Oregon, his life took a profound turn in 1999 when faced with the death of his best friend, Angie Dzankich, from Cystic Fibrosis. The very night of her passing, Joe picked up his guitar to record his first song 'Almost There.' Not knowing well how to play his instrument, Joe wrote his first song spontaneously. Making up the words and melody as he went, Joe managed to record the song in one take.
"From that point on, I sort of realized that no matter what I was doing - be it music or film - Angie would be with me."
Joe has been working on his first documentary 'Almost There,' after attending college at the Art Institute of Seattle (01-02). The film chronicles the friendship he shared with Angie, including the disease that eventually took her like. This film is scheduled for release in 2005.
Joe's second EP 'Stuck in the In-Between,' was released in April of 2005.
