Description
Greg's music reflects his years traveling and working abroad in Europe, Asia and North Africa. His haunting songs explore the human condition, both individual and political. As the son of a preacher man, his music explores his own rejection of organized religion, and the vacancy of the spiritual in the life of modern man. He currently makes his home in Salt Lake City where he earned degrees in philosophy and linguistics at the University of Utah. He plays in the local music scene there, and enjoys backcountry skiing and trail running. Greg plays a guitar hand-built by Jerry Nolte of Evergreen Mountain Instruments in Oregon, and a mandolin built by friend and master luthier Eichi Sumi of Nagano, Japan.
