Description
Ken Johnson is an exciting new singer bursting onto the scene, and his gifts are sure to be obvious to the first time listener. He was born in Connecticut, lived in Canada for a while and now makes his home in Texas with his lovely wife and children.
Ken's belief that the traditional country music still has a place is welcomed and it embraces his wonderful lyrics to give them a comfortable sound. A talented artist, you'll be amazed at this man's vocal abilities. We hope he will still be sharing his wonderful talents with us for a long, long time to come!
Ken's cd was recorded in Nashville Tennessee at Okie Acres recording studio. Lonnie Ratliff did a wonderful production of this cd. Steel Guitar and dobro were played by Perly Curtis. Perly has for years played steel for Loretta Lynn and Becky Hobbs. Fiddle and mandolin were played by Jim Unger, a much sought after session player. Bass was played by Dave Francis, drums played by Steve Holland, keyboards by Chris Nole. The wonderful harmonies on this cd were sung by Ray Barnette. Lead Guitar, acoustic, engineering and mixing was done by Vaugh Loftstead.
Ken has a very busy schedule with his band. For information on where he is playing you can visit his official website www.kenjohnsonus.com and check out the schedule link from the pulldown menu.
