Description
Jon Dawson has been entertaining audiences for about 10 years. He is a driven and passionate singer and songwriter from Oklahoma. His songs are delivered from the depth of a weary but always hopeful soul.
Jon is most known as the singer and songwriter of the Alternative Country band The Suburbillies. Their 2000 release of "SubBourbon" took audiences by surprise with it's unapologetic blend of hillbilly train beats and hell bent distortion.
Jon Dawson is back on top with The Dream, his latest release on Freeborn Records. The Dream continues in the edgy Country vein of his previous work, but with a much more defined sound of maturity. Listening to The Dream will take you through the back roads of Jon's heart and soul with a lighter raised in tribute to the musical heroes of Jon's musical past.
