Described by industry professionals as a "young Steve Martin with a healthy dose of Ted Baxter"; and possessing a "Bobby Darin swagger", James P. Connolly's career is taking off.
Host of VH1's "Movie Obsessions", a Grand Comedy Champion on Ed McMahon's "Next Big Star", and seen recently on HBO's "The Spot", James performs regularly in Las Vegas, Reno, Lake Tahoe, New York, Los Angeles and throughout the country, at such top clubs as The Improv, Catch A Rising Star, Zanies and the Ice House. Called "an extraordinary talent", and "as funny, quick and fresh as any comedian around today" by entertainment bookers, you've probably seen him on Comedy Central, VH1, HBO, Fox, PAX TV, UPN, SiTV, the Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon, and numerous other television appearances. Connolly co-starred in the film "Nine Minutes" and his work has even taken him to the Cannes Film Festival where the Hollywood Reporter described his performances as "interactive perfection." His other credits include radio, voice-over, multimedia, and headlining engagements across the country.
