On June 10, 2004 "ON A SEPTEMBER MORN" was named an official finalist in the internationally acclaimed Song Of
The Year contest supporting VH-1's Save the music foundation, where the judges are some of the biggest names
in music including many Grammy Award winners. Giving
producer/writer J. Kari national attention. This song
will also be included on the upcoming album.
In June 2005, J. Kari signed a songwriter/co-publishing
deal with the Hollywood Music placement company,
Transition Music Corporation. This deal will feature
performances by Talking Book of J. Kari written and produced
songs.
In addition to Mr.Jonz, former Laface Recording artist
Sam Salter is another one of the outstanding vocalists
to be featured in Talking Book.
Tara Thomas of SlautaHouz Produkshunz is currently promoting the band to radio, and shopping the band for
a record deal.
