Description
Orents Stirner is Fletcher Stafford. I've been making original music and playing live in Houston since 91. The last few years I've been writing my own songs. All my songs come from recorded improv sessions of just me and my guitar. I listen to the tape, pick out the songs I like, and learn them. The lyrics for my songs come from the poems I have written each morning for the past 4 years. It's all stream of consciousness; whatever arises, arises. "Our Names in Concrete" started out as guitar and vocals only. I decided after recording them to add drums, bass and second guitar parts. I believe this gave the album an organic feel.
