Description
Artist Perspective: As an artist I've been rapping for nearly nine years, and the thing I appreciate the most about my God given talent, is that it has grown with me. Drugs and guns seemed cool to rap about when that's what I was a part of, but now that I've grown, I feel my music should depict that growth; and document it as well. I think the music you create should reflect the real you and not who people think you should be. It should be an outlet for how you really feel; A form of expression. Even killers cry, drug dealers get depressed. I think rap music doesn't reflect enough of the human element that's common to all people. I mean I understand that selling drugs is a part of life and for some it may seem like all they know, but the human experience doesn't discriminate. Certain things are common to male and female, young and old, rich and poor, black and white. So one of the goals I hope to accomplish is to make it O.K to be a human being with feelings, emotions and insecurities. Rap seems to be the only genre of music in which people cover up how they feel. Hopefully I can make an impact for the better"
