Le Mans straddles the line between the current Electroclash movement and early 80's Wax Trax dance music with a dose of Bodyrock thrown in for good measure. Le Mans is jam1sin, who built the new project from scratch after doing numerous one-off and collaborative music productions. Primarily an actor/model, he has had memorable roles in popular music videos, commercials, television, and film.

Le Mans originated as a 303/sampler/synth/vocoder project with Holly Louis (IAmPoser.COM) performing live on Melrose avenue and rehearsing in the factory district of downtown L.A. The early pieces were simple and easier to play live. "Motorlove" the newest and last song recorded for the Coldlife in the Fastlane" is a little bit of a reference to one of those songs which was entitled "Girl with a Fast Car".


The Coldlife in the Fastlane CD is the starting line from which Le Mans sound will continue to grow. Inspiration and respect comes from influences such as Miami Vice, Downtown Video Game Arcades, Robots, Popping and Locking, Paris, pre-guitar Ministry (referenced by the album title), Amsterdam, Neon Nightlife, Synthetic Nutrition, Car Racing both legal and illegal, 80's computers, Beta VCRs; they all coexist in the Le Mans psyche.

UPCOMING RELEASES:

The new LeMans full length album DISCO RELATED INJURY will be available by summer 2005.

The title song for Carlos Batt's AMerican Gothic DVD is written and performed my LeMans (Scapegoat 2005)

LeMans has provided a new song for Hong Kong Counterfeit's tribute CD coming out on Kinetic later this year.

Ninthwave is releasing "Datacassette" on the popular Electricity III compilation later this year.

"Brainblockers" is the title song to the upcoming feature film of the same name. The video can be viewed at www.Electrocore.com.

A LeMans guest vocal and remix of "Stars" appears on INDY500's Santee Alley CD (FD Records). Jam1sin also co-produced the "Burning Urges" single off their Discolandia release (FD records).

Le Mans is currently collabrating musically with members Electroboobies, Neurocoil, La Ley, Freezepop. Dirty Sanchez is helping out in the studio to mix the single AFTER WERK.
