Description
Patrick Wyatt Rheaume is a singer/songwriter from Bangor , Maine.
Born in 1958 the youngest of five children, I remember my childhood as
filled with varied styles of music. My father sang Barbershop Quartet
while my mother listened to Johnnie Cash, the Statler Bros. and the
Carter Family. My sister favored Peter Paul & Mary, Simon and
Garfunkel
and The Mamas & The Papas, while my older brother enjoyed heavy metal.
When I was old enough to choose my own music it was Crosby/Stills/Nash,
Bob Dylan , John Denver, and Pure Prairie League. I wrote my first
poetry when I was six years old. In 1988 I began attending bluegrass,
old-time and folk festivals - it was then that I started to craft
original tunes.
It should come as no surprise that this CD contains musical styles
varying from Maritime to Newgrass to Gospel to Humor.
