Some say his Bad'lan Prog-Punk fusion is like a train wreck or car crash--you just can't stop staring for whatever reason. However, unlike a trainwreck, Lieberman's fans and advesaries alike always keep on coming back for more!!!

And what is this Bad'lan Prog-Punk thing all about?? It's a highly experimental (but surprisingly danceable) fusion of Punk, industrial, progressive rock, electronica and Jewish music. to complicate things, there are NO guitars here.

Overdriven basses by the bevvies provide the chords and share leads with "Ian Anderson on steroids" flute playing with trombones, fiddles and exotics thrown into the mixture for good measure.

His first full-length cd, "Bad'lania Rising" certainly didn't break any sales records, received mostly critical hammering yet it established Steve Lieberman as a force to be reckoned with on the mp3 scene, topping global charts in genres of alternative,rock, country, children's dance,Jewish world and even JAZZ.

His 2nd album " Jewish Lightning" released 9/16/2003, takes BAD'LANIA many steps further into political and musical controversary.Lieberman's openly Zionistic stance has landed him racial attacks from 3 separate continents--in this day and age a veritable horror show.
