Description
Three continents, four countries, nine bands, nineteen tracks with two things in common...musicians without borders paying tribute to the music of The Jelly Bean Bandits. Romislokus from Russia, The Secrets from Australia and Graceland Homegrown from Austria make this a real world music CD. Hotrod from New York and Vanishing Point from Arizona add a continental United States flavor to it. Factor in El Jaye Johnson, Neptune's Buffalo and Radio Flyer from Wilmington, North Carolina (the most diverse music location in the nation) and you have a truly amazing project. Then add The Jelly Bean Bandits themselves (then, now and future) along with four decades of their music and it becomes a bit of magic.
It's like inviting your friends over to your place for a jam session. Except that some of these friends live on the other side of the continent, while others live on the other side of the world. Their musical ideas are so diverse and their talents are so great that their visions are put back-to-back with The Jelly Bean Bandit originals.
And The Jelly Bean Bandits do a new take on one of their old songs, as well as a brand-new bonus track.
In the end, it really is all about the music.
