Description
The Timucua Brass Band is composed of 9 musicians from Orlando, all brass and a drummer.
Benoit Glazer (Conductor at Cirque du Soleil), Mike Iapichino (Sam Rivers, TomorrowLand Band), Keith Oshiro (Maynard Ferguson, TomorrowLand Band), James Hosmer (Future Corps, TomorrowLand Band), Rex Wertz (Sam Rivers, Rich Walker), Alain Bradette (Cirque du Soleil), dalton Hagler (New-Orlans and Mississippi Queen), Dan Martel (Montreal Jubilation Gospel Choir), Josh Parsons (TomorrowLand Band), Ed Metz Jr. (Count Basie).
All the music is composed and arranged by Benoit Glazer for the band, which was formed three years ago. The music was performed three years running at the Timucua Concert Series with enormous success. A tour is in the works.
The band is tight and energetic, and the music a unique blend of Bop, Funk, and traditional New-Orleans Brass Band music.
