Description
Originally from Thunder Bay, Canada, Sunday Night Cruise relocated to Winnipeg in the fall of 2003 to produce this album.
ICONFLICT is a collection of songs written about the human condition and the things we think in our heads but may never say. From the first track "The Terrorist", the mood of the album is set: bold and pleading rock laced with edgy rap that probes the listener to ask the deeper questions about giving, God, promises, trials spent alone and even a night on the town.
While there is no denying the band's underlying faith and conviction on this record, both the lyrical content and classically-influenced music transcend spiritual borders in a way that is very accessible. This is largely a result of the band members' histories. Dean and Kevin are classically trained on the piano and guitar and Dave and Nathan have a wealth of production experience from previous bands.
As an emerging act, Sunday Night Cruise can be heard on various radio stations, but the band sees interaction with their fans via the internet and live shows as a much greater way to spread the music than the one-way communications media of the 20th century.
