Description
What makes an Empire great? Each and every soldier working together in unison on a common goal and won't stop until all objectives are achieved.
That's what The Tune Raiduz Empire brings as a team; all of it's members working together for a common cause, and that is to become the strongest family in hip-hop. First there is Dutch Diamond, Jamaican born and grew up in Brooklyn,NY is a dancehall/hip-hop rapper, producer who moved to Virginia in 1998 from New York and started S.M.G.(Smoketown Media Group), an independent record company with $8,000 and a dream of being the next Master P, releasing singles on the local scene but wasn't getting the recognition he sought till he started recruiting other producers and artists to collaborate on projects. In 2002 he released the track 'Hip Hop Girls', produced by 50 Karat, and featured 'Dilligaf'. This made a huge impact in the hiphop and dancehall community and started the ball rolling for S.M.G.
Then in 2002, Dutch formed a production family called T.R.E (Tune Raiduz Empire) which consist of three of the hottest up and coming producers in the Washington DC metro area known as the X-Factor. They are: XP-5000(Pete Harrell);X-Shell(Jerich Shellington);and The Prophet-X (?) Since their inception, they have been sought after by some of the biggest names in rap to produce tracks but they are committed to completing their joint effort prior to engag-ing in outside projects.
Now complete and soon to be released on the S.M.G. label, the project entitled 'We Got Nexx' is already getting serious buzz on line and in the streets. This compilation cd features the hottest mc's who's in line for the next generation in hip-hop stardom. Release date is slated for sometime in late spring 2004. E.Z. Writer
