Description
This is Strike & Mosquito, UK Hip-hop at its best. Producing a blend of dark edged cold cutting lyrics and laid back tech grooves. At times the tracks will haunt you, with a combination of dark strings and atmospheric vocal samples, whilst tunes such as Good Language and DNA can only be described as in-tha-club bangers: beats that can't be missed! Whatever your taste, the lyrical superiority of MC Strike mixed with Mosquito's flawless production will have you hooked.
The Duo are from Stockport, in the North West of England. Old friends, the pair started producing tracks in 2000, when Linguistic Education, DNA, and Marked 'n' Sparked were recorded. Since then, the pair have gone from strength to strength: performing live around the UK and drumming up much respect.
This, Strike & Mosquito's debut EP has been 3 years in the making... but its been worth the wait.
