Description
Reno Jones, an established Blues and R&B horn band that really delivers. The Blues Connection Magazine said about our first CD: "The vocals are the finest I've heard from a first release effort of an unsigned band. Without a doubt, the horns are every bit as talented as the Memphis or Roomful of Blues sections."
We are currently being featured in a documentary film by Sundance Film Festival Award winner Harry Knapp: "Welcome to Slab City" details of which are available on our website.
We are award winners at "The Monterey Bay Blues Festival Battle of the Bands" and are entering our 3rd year performing at their festival.
Founded in 1997, Reno Jones has 2 CD's in release, # 3 out in 2004.
We were winners, "Monterey Bay Blues Festival Battle of the Blues Bands" 2002 & 2003.
We have headlined at fairs and festivals throughout Southern California. Openers for: Ray Charles, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, James Harmon, The Four Tops, and many others.
