Description
NUDE is the fourth release from SLEEPING DOGS LIE. This homemade lofi rock CD has a cool laid back vibe with a variety of acoustic, electric and experimental sounding songs that continue in the SDL tradition of unique and interesting chord arrangements and wide ranging lyrical subject matter. NUDE's subject matter is more introspective than the previous SLEEPING DOGS LIE cds.
The painting on the cd is from a true story... my friend was with her mother-in-law on Jupiter Beach one afternoon and could not find an open restroom... No one was around, so mother-in-law just drops her pants and takes a dump right there on the sand! My friend stood there stunned and red-faced. Little did she realize that it would be my inspiration for this cd. Anyway, this cd has a bit of a LOU REED, BECK, NIRVANA, LED ZEPPELIN, BRIAN ENO, DAVID BOWIE, PRIMUS, THE VIOLENT FEMMES feel? Listen to a few songs and decide for yourself... ENJOY... and for God sakes man, watch where you step.
