THE SMALL CHANGE are a culmination of many small changes made along the way from former Seattle beat groups such as American Junk, Muzzle, and The Band That Made Milwaukee Famous. What hasn't changed is the lads' love of rock and roll. Guitarist and songwriter Greg Collingsworth draws his pop and grit balanced songs from 1965 London and also the following decades' heroes Costello, Weller, and Strummer. Long time colleague Doug Stevens provides the beat on his vintage Ludwig drum kit. Jason Toft mans the Rickenbacker bass on the other end of the rhythm tandem.
The Small Change live performance is a display of fury and passion crafted on countless stages across the land. The timid will shy away from the storm of beer, saliva, sweat, and cigarette smoke and miss out on the seminal rock sound of the
last century
