Description
THE STATION is a new young Rock band from San Francisco. They have been together since November of 2001. THE STATION's sound is very original. You cannot say they sound like anyone else but you can say that you can feel influences in their music (i.e. Tom Petty, Rolling Stones, The Cult, AC/DC, Nirvana). This album is soaked with driving catchy guitar riffs and lyrical melodies that assures us that rock is still alive and its' signal is heard loud and clear. They draw us in with the familiar vibe of classic rock and keep us wanting more with a sound that is intriguingly new.
The Station is constantly writing, refining and redefining the sound of rock using three part harmonies, punchy bass lines and some of the sexiest guitar playing a vintage Marshall stack can deliver. They are still a relatively new band but their polished sound is responsible for the buzz stirring from the Northern California to L.A.
The CD was Produced by Davy Vain, whom is receiving two Platinum records for his engineering work on Christina Aguilara's new single "Beautiful" and another for his work Producing the Rock band VUE who has a song on "The Soprano's Soundtrack". Davy is now Co-Producing on the new VUE album on RCA. Vue recently opened for The Rolling Stones in Holland.
