Description
Radio Flyer is a new project from Under The Radar (Richard Souther). This music definitely falls under the heading of nighttime mood music. Written between the hours of 11pm and 5am it has a moody personality. Mixed in between sounds of old vinyl jazz records, clicks and pops, radio frequencies and AM static are some beautiful melodies that fly across the sonic spectrum. At the time I was writing the album I was listening to a lot of Bjork, Wax Poetic, Sketch Show and George Gershwin. Although it doesn't sound like any of them, it has their influences. This is perfect music for insomniacs, students cramming for tests or late night radio junkies (I being two out of the three!) Radio Flyer won't put you to sleep but will take you to a dreamy place!
