Description
Dave Wilson started playing guitar in 1964. He was soon learning songs from such diverse artists as Chuck Berry, Bob Dylan, the Beatles, and the Stones. While in school, he played in various garage bands in the Boston area during the 60's. When in college, he set his guitar aside, but it was never really very far from him.
Dave spent 32 years as a public school teacher in MA. During this time, he and his wife raised two sons. With the family grown, Dave picked up his guitar again and began performing at open mikes, which lead to several years of bar gigs.
Recently, Dave hooked up with Willie B of the Johnny Dowd band to record some of Dave's original songs. With former Brother Meat guitarist Mark Symeon and some of Ithaca NY's best musicians, this collection of tunes became the album "Making Waves."
Currently, Dave lives on Cape Cod and performs regularly on the Cape and the Boston area. His next project is in production.
