Description
Although listeners may immediately identify the new release by Adrian Xavier as situated in the reggae genre, a careful listen will sail them through warm isles of smooth soul, jazz, and even rock or Hip-Hop Flavors. The new CD, "R. Nature," to be released on June 21, reveals an artist who is an intrepid traveler in the musical as well as geographic sense. Adrian, who has worked with artists such as Spearhead and original members of Heart in the Geoffrey Castle Band, also caught the attention of filmmaker Mark Levin (Slam, Brooklyn Babylon) who proclaimed, "Adrian's music is my new soundtrack." Adrian explains the motivation behind the positivity to be found in lyrics throughout R. Nature, "These songs reflect my concern for the future of the planet. The CD is dedicated, with thanks to my many inspirations, to equal rights, truth, justice, the traditional peoples and the innocent victims everywhere." Judging from the number of Seattle clubs and events at which Adrian Xavier has played, you'd deduce he likes his hometown fine, but he expects to reach even more far-flung audiences with the release of his solo debut, "R. Nature."
