Description

Diverse Earth Records is pleased to present its debut release from singer/songwriter Byron Kelsey Atkinson, "All About Love." Atkinson delivers eleven sophisticated songs about the ups and downs of love. He's part bard, part poet, and a unique stylist. There is a beauty in the music, simplicity in the lyrics and sensitivity in the voice that you just don't find very often. When you do find it, you know it's special. He lists greats including Vandross, Mathis, Cook, Wilson and Wilson (both Jackie and Nancy) among those who have influenced him.

When ask to comment on his music, Atkinson said emphatically "For me it all starts with the song. The song evokes certain feelings and emotions. The song bears the message. As the singer I am simply a facilitator."
