Description
BUDDY DUGHI plays with a variety of setups including a custom Fender double neck, assorted Gretsch 6120 guitars, a flamed double neck Hallmark guitar custom-made by Bob Shade, and a black Mosrite (Ventures model).
Buddy uses various amps including two 1963 Fender Bassman, a 1959 Fender Bassman, or two 25L15 Standel amps. He uses a tape delay or delay pedal and sometimes uses a Fender reverb tank.
This is Buddy' first solo instrumental record and follows on from his success as the leader of the popular rockabilly band The Hot Rod Trio.
Based in Orange County, California, THE HOT ROD TRIO has been consistently tearing up California and the West Coast. They've released two CDs, have been featured in many magazine articles, and have had some television exposure. Their live shows are very dynamic and memorable.
Deke Dickerson says "Buddy Dughi's been around for a long time, playing with the Hot Rod Trio and other groups, but now he's struck out on his own with some cool surf and rockin' instrumentals! Double the necks, double the twang, and double the FUN!"
