Description
This is a CD-R.
Edge of the Dreamworld is a collection of ambient / space / electronic music that was originally released in 1989. It contains songs that where recorded as far back as 1982. I would now consider this music to be Ambient leaning towards the New Age side of things.
On a number of songs I used a Synergy Digital Synthesizer which had both additive and FM synthesis. 'The Sky Below', 'Beyond the Path', and 'Clouds and Mirrors' were recorded using the Synergy in Seattle WA. It was a cold winter that year. I remember going to one of the many parks that faced the Puget Sound and watching the water go by. At times I would forget where I was and the water appeared to be like clouds in the sky. The song 'The Sky Below' is a sonic description of that notorious day. I might have been dreaming or at lease on the edge anyway. 'Full Moon Mass' was created in 1982 using an Oberheim OBSX and Korg Poly-6. It was recorded in the same time period as my album 'Landscape of a Dream'. These songs are more of a personal soundtrack of my life than a thing to sell. I still like to listen to them.
