Angela is best known as the energetic lead vocalist of COOLYs HOT BOX, however she is also an accomplished songwriter,producer and multi-instrumentalist. Angela is a seasoned,well traveled performer who has shared stages with INDIA ARIE,BBKING, ROY AYERS, NEVILLE BROTHERS, A TRIBE CALLED QUEST and GURU among others As a producer in 2001, Angela wrote and produced a top 10 single Angel for Japanese superstar DOUBLE.
Angela wrote, produced and played the majority of the instruments on eleven of the fourteen songs, while CO-writing three other songs produced by DJ SPINNA, ERIC KRASNOW of SOULIVE, GIL SMALL and EK.
Angela has also appeared as a featured instrumentalist with DJ SPINNA for ZERO 7,(Distractions)Mark De Clive Lowe (Day by Day),URBAN SPECIES(Woman) and KOJACK (You Cant Stop It)
