Description
Country up your ass! Hailing from Chico, California, the Asskickers are a traditional country outfit with a whole lotta punk rock attitude! Pull on your cowboy boots and get ready to rock and roll two-step style with this hickabilly band that's been rocking the North State since the summer of 2000.
"Home on the Range" is the second release from the Asskickers and picks up where the debut "Other Side of Town" left off. The songs are expertly played, raw and gritty. Singer/Songwriter Bob Howard fronts the band and explores topics ranging from a sado-masochistic speed freak (Home on the Range), to the perils of drug abuse (Cocaine Keeps Me Regular, Venice Beach), to alien abduction (Little Green Men), to militia madness (Anarchy Redneck Kingdom). The songs are witty and provocative and the music ranges from slow and melodic to downright balls to the wall riff-driven rock.
