KIM EDMUNDSON drums Kim studied with Louie Bellson and Ed Shaugnessy. He has performed and recorded with many jazz artists such as Dave Brubeck, Supersax, Stanley Clarke, and Monty Alexander. He now resides in Los Angeles and can be heard on hundreds of television and movie sound tracks including "SPACE COWBOYS" "DANCES WITH WOLVES" and the just released "RED PLANET."
ALAN OLDFIELD piano As a composer and a player Alan Oldfield can be heard on literally hundreds of television and movie sound tracks and records over the past 35 years. He is best known around Hollywood as Lennie Neihaus's right hand man on many of Clint Eastwood's movies. Alan has worked with artists like Herbie Hancock, Maynard Ferguson and he has taught music at North Texas State and Southern Illinois University. He composed all of the songs on this CD with the exception of only one.
LARRY LUNETTA trumpet Larry currently lives in New York City and is one of the hottest up and coming young stars on the New York jazz scene. He has appeared on "THE DAVID LETTERMAN SHOW" and on the "LIVE with REGIS" show backing up various top acts. In the jazz realm, he has worked with Bill Holman, Louie Bellson and Count Basie's orchestra plus many others.
DOUG WEBB tenor sax Originally from Chicago, Doug now lives and works in Los Angeles where he is a top call studio musician. For such a young man, he has quite a jazz resume too. Doug has been featured on over 50 jazz records with artists like Horace Silver, Freddie Hubbard, Charlie Hayden, Quincy Jones, and Pancho Sanchez.
DAVE STONE bass A second generation bass player. Dave's father played on Hollywood sound tracks like "CASABLANCA" and "THE WIZARD OF OZ." Dave is now a much in demand studio player in his own right. Working as a section player, he has recorded with such diverse artists as Willie Nelson, Madonna and Barbara Streisand. As a jazz bassist he has worked with Louie Bellson, Woody Herman, Stan Kenton and Jack Sheldon.
