Athena's Album "Grateful" has a new look!
"After much consideration I decided to change the cover to my album Grateful. I wanted it to have a softer look and to reflect Christ more and now it does! I am really excited because this is a new beginning in my Ministry and now with a new cover I can't wait to see what God has in store for me this year!"
Athena Is excited to announce the release of her debut album "Grateful", A dream that has finally come true.
"Grateful" Is a Testimony of Gratefulness to Christ and all he has done for me.
Blessed by God with the talent to write, produce and perform with the power and beauty in her voice, Athena resolved at a very young age that music, specifically Gospel and Christian music, was a passion she was inspired to pursue and share with the world.
Raised in a small town on the Central Coast of California, Athena has always loved to perform. Taking advantage of every opportunity to participate in church, school, or community events, "singing was what I was born to do, it fulfills me."
Athena won a competition to sing the National Anthem at a celebrity basketball match in Fresno, California after competing against other contestants on radio. The winner was selected by the listeners vote.
When her family moved to Hawaii, Athena was invited to sing on a Christian T.V. show called "God's Love".
"When I'm on stage it's indescribable because at that moment all eyes are on you and everyone is waiting to hear what you have to say. You are in control of the message that you are bringing".
Writing all her own music, Athena is inspired by personal endeavors, the Bible and the knowledge that Jesus can help us through real situations.
