Description
E. Shawn Qaissaunee's Painting Pictures is a collection of musical portraits featuring Shawn on guitar, Chico Huff on bass, Tom Palmer on drums, Jeff Knoettner on keyboards and Eric Powell on alto saxophone.
With the exception of a funky "Q" arrangement of My Romance, all the songs were written by Shawn.
The music is warm and inviting, lyrical and engaging.
The quintet paints its musical images with a myriad of colors and textures.
There truly is something for everyone in this collection.
E. Shawn Qaissaunee, guitarist/composer, is a Berklee College of Music Alumnus.
He has become a sought after performer and teacher in the Mid-Atlantic region, though his musical journeys have taken him all across the USA and Europe.
Tell A Story, Shawn's debut CD, was released February 2000 to critical and popular acclaim.
Painting Pictures is his newest release and promises further success.
