Description
Coming straight from the "Crooked I" (Indianapolis, IN) comes the debut album release of E-VOL titled "Hear No Evol, See No Evol" from the multi-faceted recording label Trife Life Records.
This album is a blend of raw urban street poetry, mixed with smooth melodic grooves that will keep your head bobbin from beginning to end.
The goal with this album was to cover all angles from the usually common topics, sex and money, to the deeper side of life, fatherhood and religious beliefs (believe me it's deep).
Although E-vol is the featured artist on this CD, it also includes guest appearances from other Trife Life members and affiliates such as Waniac, Showgun, The Starchild, G-Moan, Ryse Rilla, and Jim-E-Mac just to name a few.
This album captures the ruggedness of the hip-hop culture in it's purest form, but also displays a softer, more conscious side of life.
If the artist was asked to describe this album is two words or less, they would be "Lyrical Gumbo"
