Description
In April 2002, the Azure Fields Ministry was formed for the honor and glory of God by the Receveur Family. By the end of 2002, with the help of studio musicians, the Receveurs were able to record two albums (Higher Ground & Stars Danced In The Night) and share the Lord's music with many churches. They were also interviewed for both albums on the KSBN SafeTV Purely Music Show.
In April 2003, the Receveurs recorded their 3rd album, Walking With Jesus. Their children, Amanda and Jesse, were also able to participate in this album. In September 2003, the Receveurs were featured in the Columbia Union Visitor, a church publication. In the summer/fall of 2004, Azure Fields' third album will be featured on SafeTV.
The purpose for this ministry is to help bring people closer to Christ one song at a time. Their church concerts consist of solos, duets, instrumentals, and audience participation. The songs include old familiar hymns and new compositions accompanied by piano, keyboard, guitar, bass, banjo, mountain dulcimer, mandolin, and kazoo.
