Andy adds layers of percussion, strings, horns and vocal harmonies to many of the cuts.

His sound has been compared to Pat Metheny Group, Belgian composer Wim Mertens and Brazilian recording artist Milton Nascimento.

But it is the way he mixes these and other influences --- from the rolling sweeps and swells of DEPARTURE, SEVENS, FIELDS and HORIZON to the starkness and stillness of PRAYER, ASHES and ARRIVAL and then back to the feel-good white light of SKINS, FLURRY and BREEZE --- that gives this album such a unique flavor.
