Reviews:
***** "Phyllis Chapell is an elegant singer who will steal your heart away if you let her. She accompanies herself on guitar, which she plays authoritatively...Her music is tasteful, eclectic and real. She eludes all labels!" The Philadelphia Inquirer
***** "It doesn't matter what language this woman sings in (and she sings in quite a few), it's captivating. Even when she scats, it's beautiful. The album is tender, intimate and shows off the wide range of not only Phyllis' voice, but her emotions and influences as well. Finely crafted work." Songwriter's Monthly
***** "The deep, rich voice of Ms. Chapell and the spritely work of her acoustic guitar bounces around the musical map to insure a captive audience."
