Description
Soundclash #1 is the first in a line of releases featuring underground hip-hop's finest going head-to-head. MeccaGodZilla is the beatmaking anchor for the Monsta Island Czars collective. Along with his partner-in-crime RAVAGE, MeccaGodZilla is a formidable opponent, wielding a library of breaks in one claw, an arsenal of electronic sounds in the other and spewing fire out of his mouth. He has laid down tracks for underground classic's like Rodan's "Human Inquisition" but this is the first glimpse at his true power. James Bond needs no introduction to those who's ears have been attuned to the NYC underground. Having laced beats for the likes of Cannibal Ox, billy woods and Hasan Salaam, his repertoire is battle-tested. Obscure samples and bizzare instrumentation are the tools of his trade and chaos is his modus operandi. The battle is joined by Vordul of Cannibal Ox, Monsta Island Czars, Majesty, billy woods, RAVAGE, King Ra, Divine Mind and Shist.
