Description
A natural entertainer,
Australian Singer / Songwriter / Pianist Silvana
comes from an extensive musical back ground that lead her to study Music at the 'Sydney Conservatorium of Music' and has earnt her numerous awards for Song writing as well as her unique Singing Style.
This ambitious musician, took her self to Los Angeles in 1999, where she quickly became known for her gutsy stage presence and catchy original pop tunes.
Teaming up with some of L.A.'s finest song writing talent, Silvana co-wrote songs and performed at venues such as 'The Mint' as well as 'Brasserie Des Artistes' in Beverly Hills.
In 2001 Silvana returned to Australia, to record her first CD 'Sydney to L.A.' which includes the popular song 'I Want To Love You...' recorded with Geoff Robertson of the renowned 'Robertson Brothers'.
'Sydney to L.A.' was officially launched in both Sydney and L.A. in 2002, selling over 1000 copies within months of its release; an achievement that generated rave reviews for the CD, as well as interest from highly regarded industry executives.
In June 2003, Silvana returned to Los Angeles and signed with a Reputable Talent agent and broadened her career to include acting, modelling and music.
Silvana was recently awarded the Songwriter's ASCAP PLUS AWARD
