Description
S P I K T A K U L A
A Latin hip-hop artist, with a unique vocal sound and style, who also happens to have
a large amount of talent when it comes to production. Along with label mate Buckshot of the
Pharmaceutikalz, the production on his debut album "Trials & Triumphs" is flawless. Acompanied
by legendary Houston artists' such as Papa Reu on the first radio and club single "Till da morning",
and also a special apperance by underground legend Klass One of 4-deep on the head knocking
"Ever feel like this?". This Houston based M.C. is not afraid to create outside the box, which is
clearly proven on the melodic Pink Floyd influenced " N E body outhere?". Also the Texas bluesy
track "I wanna fly away" wich vividly paints a picture of trying to escape from negative, to positive.
This album tells a story, from the first to the last track you get to visualise the world from this
narrators eyes. The clever rhymes, the delivery of every single line, and the intensity in Spiktakula's
voice, tells you clearly that this artist needs to be heard, studied, and appreciated by hip-hop junkies
everywhere.
