Turningheadz is the vehicle for Producer/ Songwriter/ Remixer/ Artist and Multi-Instrumentalist Kayro. Hailing from the coast of Germany to the streetz of NYC he has the ability and vision to combine both continents' musical styles into one infectious, unique and captivating blend. His influences range from Drum'n'Bass and other electronic styles via Hip Hop/ Rap/ R&B/ Pop all the way to Rock with emphasize on a mean beat and memorable melody. Drawing from years of experience in performing, producing and developing his own creative sound he is dedicated to turn out professional quality products with an individual twist.
He refined his musical talents while studying at the prestigious Berklee College of Music and honed his skills in songwriting, arranging, playing several instruments, production and engineering. In the last 3 years Kayro gained experiences in several NYC Studios. He had the opportunity to work with a slew of diverse artists such as Missy Elliott, Bon Jovi (VH1 Storyteller Series), Joni Mitchell (TNT Superstation Tribute concert feat. Elton John, James Taylor and others), Tito Puente (Viva La Musica Latina Birthday Special), Horacio Hernandez (Drummer for Santana), Maysa Leak (Ex-Incognito vocalist), and many others...
