After an illustrious career primarily on the regional blues circuit, this Texas blues crooner throws his hat into the international blues ring with the effortless virtuosity of a seasoned artist.
From the start, this mostly original collection of songs reflects the spirited diversity that is Kenny Traylor. Kenny was backed by an all star lineup including among others former Smokin' Joe Kubek & Bnois King rhythm section with Jimmy Pendleton on drums and Guthrie Kennard on bass, as well as Hammond B-3 maestro and former Lucky Peterson band member Shawn Ferris. Produced by multiple Handy Award winner Anson Funderburgh, this album is drenched with that famous signature Texas blues guitar sound. But let there be no doubt that the heart and soul of "Somethin's Gotta Change" is Kenny Traylor's captivating vocals and his smooth Texas blues guitar style.
