Folk Medicine
Wampeters
Wampeters' sophomore disc captured the lightning of '80s pop in a bottle... and then shot the bottle with a BB gun.

Description
Riding the virulent anti-hairband wave of the late '80s, Folk Medicine was a dyspeptic tonic to a painfully inane hit parade. Extolled in the pages of Spy magazine, this release established Mark Doyon's careening artistic collective as, for casting purposes, whores with hearts of gold.
Remastered in 2005 for CD and digital downloads, Folk Medicine is back in print.
