Description
A native of southwest Virginia, Wendy was exposed to a great deal of bluegrass and other acoustic music styles while growing up.
She attended schools in Virginia, New Jersey and South Carolina. Throughout childhood, she frequently went to bluegrass and old-time music festivals with her father.and studied guitar, mandolin, banjo, keyboard and fiddle as well as bass fiddle and vocals.
Wendy now makes her home in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Laurel Springs, NC and enjoys performing her own blend of acoustic roots, mountain and bluegrass style music.
