Description
Chris Yurchuck has been writing & performing pop Americana and rock songs for the last six years. He has signed two licensing agreements (Premier Tracks and 5 Alarm Music) to promote his catalog to film & TV. You can hear his music in the upcoming DVD release of Felicity (4th Season) as well as at Regal Cinemas nationwide this winter (courtesy of 5 Alarm Music). His new CD, Coming Attractions, was produced & engineered by Jamie Siegel (Lauryn Hill, Carlos Santana, Del Amitri) and features Matt Rubano from Taking Back Sunday, and Dave Holmes and Joe Tomino from Like Yesterday.
"Chris Yurchuck finds the balance that seems so elusive for the majority of songwriters: he has a contemporary flair about him but also has deeper roots in more time-tested music. While one hears the influence of acoustic-based rock bands such as Dave Matthews and the Jayhawks, sprinkles of Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan & Tom Waits can also be felt. This CD (Dark Secret) truly sounds as good as anything that's out there. I hope we hear more from Chris, because we need him." - Musesmuse.com
