Description
A native New Yorker, Kathy arrived in Venice,CA 5 years ago after her stint on Cosby came to an end when the show was cancelled. She said goodbye to Bill and moved out to the beach in LA. In addition to being an actress on sitcoms, she has also sang and danced on Broadway and toured around the country in many musical productions. She worked with Broadway composers such as Charles Strouse (Annie, Bye Bye Birdie) Elizabeth Swados (Runaways) and Anthony Newley, who she also toured with in his revival production of "Stop the World, I Want to Get Off".
Kathy's main focus now is songwriting. It all started when directors and producers of independent films started asking her to write music for specific projects. Kathy learned pretty quickly that she was good at this, writing a new tune in a couple of hours, impressing not only the producers who requested the song, but also herself. She does most of her writing with her voice while she rollerblades from Venice Beach through Santa Monica to the Palisades and back. Yes, she is the 4'11" redheaded roller blader who you may have seen, singing her way through her workout everyday on that sandy bike path in Venice Beach
