It's not about "we slipped, we got clean, we're great now," although that is certainly worth celebration, and some songs hope for that; it is more about the REALITY of how addictions influence a life, directly.
Some writers handle it with confession, others with an ironic sense of humor; yet each song is gripping and real in story and emotion, making the CD a truly compelling work.
