Am I Blue is a unique blend of the full spectrum of musical experiences of it's song writers. Born of the blues but influenced by R&B, Funk, Jazz, Rock and Pop, the songs are a fresh take on a well established genre.
Written and produced primarily by singer/guitarist, Sean Denton and drummer, Mark Talbott, the CD varies from straight ahead R&B to a more contemporary pop blues sound.
The smooth, soulful voice and catchy lyrics of Sean Denton capture the essence of classic blues while together as a band, Gryffyn creates a truly unique blend of music. From the cool bluesy title track, "Am I Blue" to the up-beat funk stylings of "Clean Up Man' to the jazz influenced "Earl's Boogie", The Gryffyn Band stretches out to cover the gambit of R&B.
