Description
The mission and ministry of The Jazz Apokalypse began in 1996
as a calling from the teaching and music ministry of Danny
Chatmon. The desire and need for the "good news" of the
gospel of Jesus the Christ to be manifested in the message
and the music became a passion for him.
Starting out as a DJ for special functions and weddings at his
local church, Dan invisioned a greater ministry and mission.
The genre of jazz music was always a joy and hobby of his.
He learned to become a musician from listening and practice
of the artist that were part of his music collection. Dan also
has been a teacher of young adults at his local church since 1987.
He has therefore combined the two works of faith to create The Jazz Apokalypse.
If you ask why the name "The Jazz Apokalypse." He will tell
you that he believes that we are living in the last days, and
the urgency of reaching all the un-saved by any and all means
necessary is tantamount in importance. THIS MAY BE THE LAST
JAZZ U WILL EVER HEAR, DEAR.
