Description
Robb Dogg and Nate Smoove met a few years back at 1540 am radio station in Moreno Valley, Ca. Robb was a DeeJay at the station and Nate paid for air time for his twelve week show called the "Nate Smoove Show".
Robb has mad love for the guitar and Nate loves to fire off some hot drum tracks.
Since then Robb and Nate has been collaborating every chance they get. They finally realized that they both had a desire to make great music, that's when "Smoove Dogg Music" was born. Mixing a combination of hip/hop and rock & roll to create a form of positive and clean music.
"Soldier Song" was a thought that hit Nate one afternoon while at work. He called Robb and told him of the idea and a few days later "Soldier Song" was born. Thanks to Ron Cobb for his jazz version.
With all of the mixed emotions over the war on terror and the negative media press, we needed a troop support song that would motivate, inspire and appreciate our U.S. Armed Forces. Thanks Troops! We appreciate your efforts and sacrifices. (Nate served in the U.S. Air Force 1986-1990). (Never forget Sept. 11th 2001.)
"Kick it off" (feat. Melissa Hafer) is a positive party song that is a preview of Robb Dogg and Nate Smoove's upcoming album "Passion", which is to be released in November 2005. It's gonna be hot! Be sure to continue to support independent artists and tell ya friends they can find us @ www.cdbaby.com/SmooveDogg. Thanks.
