Description
This is the fourth cd for Jim Adkins and his first release on Clear Image Records. Jim is an eight time winner of V.O.C.A.L. (Virginia Organization for Composers and Lyricist)and also a past winner of the 1999 BILLBOARD SONG CONTEST in jazz. Jim's third recording "Turning Point" produced a top 40 song on the smooth jazz charts and his earlier recordings were selected for complition cds such as Billboard Song Contest Top 21 Winners Vol II and mp3 Best Songs You've Never Heard. His lastest recording "License To PLay" features 11 new recordings and 10 new originals and again displays Jim's diverse style of playing. From the opening track "Ocean Breeze" to the ending track "Groovin at Sunset" Jim's playing and melodies will offer everthing to musically satisfy the soul.
