this is the first new album by songwriter jim weatherly in more than a decade.this cd includes some of jim's biggest hits as a songwriter including "midnight train to georgia" (two different versions), "best thing that ever happened to me","neither one of us (wants to be the first to say goodby)", and "the need to be", all songs that were recorded by gladys knight and the pips, plus four newer songs, as well as songs that were country hits for glen campbell, bryan white, and charley pride. they are all new studio recordings and all new arrangements.
